Lake Shore

The Lake Shore residence is a meandering ribbon of architecture that arises from its sloping lot, creating indoor and outdoor living areas between earth and sky. Designed to also serve as a group spiritual retreat, the design features a central great room and a full rooftop deck with group meeting and meditation areas. Stairs at the back of the house bring you up to the roof following the canopy of an existing tree, and blend into a stepped seating area for impromptu performances and lectures.
